Hygiene therapy

Why do I need to have hygiene therapy?

We ask all of our dental implant patients to see our Hygiene Therapist at least once during their initial course of treatment.

Sometimes this is at the beginning to help you improve your oral hygiene and sometimes near the end of treatment to show you how to look after your new dental implant. This will maintain it's health and longevity and is very important.

Some patients require advanced periodontal intervention. We are geared to assist you with this and will tailor a plan to suit your needs.

What will my treatment entail?

All treatments vary for each individual patient. Some treatments are simple and some are complex.

We will discuss this with you in the surgery.
